It’s a trend that Lincoln-Way East coach Rich Kolimas finds disturbing.

For the second Friday night in a row, the Griffins came out and went toe-to-toe with a highly touted conference foe, only to see the game get out of hand in the third quarter.

East led Homewood-Flossmoor by three points at halftime, but the Vikings rolled in the second half on their way to a 64-43 SouthWest Suburban Blue win Friday, Jan. 24, in Frankfort.
